Who is hosting this event? We are the Cultural Society of Filipino Americans. We are a 501c3 non-profit founded in 1971, who's mission is to preserve and promote Philippines and the Filipino culture in Minnesota. Learn more at csfamn.org
What Should I Bring to Philippine Day ? You need to bring your own lawn chair or blanket for seating as most of the activities will outdoors on grass fields or in a large parking lot area. Bring cash ahead of time as not all our booth vendors will have a credit card reader or accept checks. There is no ATM in the park area.
What happens if it rains? Philippine Day will happen rain or shine, so make sure to bring your umbrella, raincoat and a smile !
How much does it cost to attend? there is no entrance or parking fee, but do bring tons of cash because our food vendors are out of this world
Where is designated lost & found area? Look for CSFA Membership booth near the Park Bldg.
Where is the first aid station? Look for CSFA Membership booth near the Park Bldg.
Is Ojibway Park handicap accessible? Yes, all the walking paths are flat with clear access from the parking lots, all the way to the marketplace and food courts. The Park Building has accessible restrooms, a small indoor dining area, and patio across from the amphitheater, so you can still watch the performers without traversing the grass area.
Are pets allowed at Ojibway Park? Yes, but I'm scared of dogs so make sure they are on a leash (also according to City ordinance)
Can I smoke or vape during the event? NO, according to City of Woodbury Ordinance. But the aroma of the amazing Filipino food will take you to new heights.
Are there any other restrictions during the event? NO alcohol, NO glass containers, NO to all forms of tobacco, NO motorized vehicles (including scooters) are allowed in the park. We also cannot stake tents or canopies into the ground. The city of Woodbury doesn’t allow it.
